SIGNUP DEADLINE: JULY 11th

In one section of a forum I visit, there are regular "wolfgames", which is the party game Mafia in a medieval setting with werewolves instead of mafia, and with an added roleplay factor. I played one and it was a blast, and at the same time, I have never been more paranoid in my LIFE. Time to share that with you. >:)

What I want to try is to host this game in comic format. Due to the pace of the game, it would be difficult to demand comic work from the players, so the only things I need from players are: a character, roleplay, strategy discussion, and votes via PM. Optionally, you can create comics of the events as they play out and I'll post them alongside my own. But as the GM, I reveal the crucial events and character roles through the comics. Only draw what happens in roleplay and discussion!

So here's the two things you should do this week:

Sign up. If you're interested, and will be around to vote and RP in the coming weeks, comment here saying you would like to sign up. Make sure you understand how the game works! Read this page.

Vote on a theme:
Mafia: Mafia vs Townspeople + Investigator + Nurse
Wolf: Werewolves vs Villagers + Seer + Sorcerer
Space: Cult vs Planet-settlers + Psychic + scientist
Zombies: Zombies vs Healthy + Psychic + Doctor

These are basic roles and settings, and only suggestions. Depending on what we choose, I may add to or change these roles.


NEXT WEEK:
After we choose a theme, all who signed up will create a character to fit the theme. A visual reference is preferred, but plain text description is allowed. Keep in mind when designing a character, you do not decide the good guy/bad guy roles! You can make them "good" or "bad" if you want, but roles will be assigned randomly. I will give them out at the start of the game, which will start as soon as everyone submits their character, or in one week, whichever comes first.

And I'll be glad to answer any questions you might have.

I've seen these in forums before and I've even GM'ed a game or two, but I've never done it in comic form before. Count me in and I vote for a Mafia theme.

I've been reading it, and i think i understand how does it work, so yeah, i sign up : P
But in Wiki they explain how it works when everybody is in the same room, so i wanna find out how'd it work online.

As for the theme, tough call. uhm, healthy, mobster,werewolves from outer space versus the zombie townspeople that settled the planet... plus other two people.
